The 2025 Run for the Roses 5K

This year was the 30th Annual Run for the Roses! We are so excited to have celebrated three decades of this race!


The certified 5k course is USATF measured and approved (Course Certification number is IL11120JW). 


The course is flat and fast, and a lot of locals’ favorites! The race is run in an oblong loop on the streets of Roselle. The race starts and ends at Lake Park High School West Campus. There is one water station at the 1.62 mile mark. The course is clearly marked with volunteers directing the way. Following the 5K race, there is a 0.6K Youth Run (1/3 mile)!


Registration for the 5K is $35, and family rates are available. The kids race is $10.


Registration for the 2025 race is now closed. See you in 2026!

In addition to being a fun race, please know that all proceeds after expenses will once again go to the Boys & Girls Club of North Central Illinois (formerly known as the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin). They have expanded to now include: Elgin, Hanover Park, Schaumburg, South Elgin, and Streamwood! They believe that every child deserves a place to feel safe and connected - but most importantly, a place to belong.
